Women Empowering Women 

Rhonda Masure will be hosting the Women Empowering Women, on the third Friday of each month. We begin with a 6:30 pm potluck, followed by a program featuring a guest speaker, 7:30 - 9 pm, Love offering basis.

Minx Boren, our presenter for January, notes that women are relational by nature. As such, we thrive in connection. In these challenging times one way we can best serve each other and ourselves is by coming together in meaningful conversations about what matters and what counts. Together we explore our knowings and our wisdom and allow something larger to emerge from our collective gathering
 
Join with Minx, master certified coach and author of Feeling My Way – 99 Poetic Journeys, in an exploration of feelings. Using various journaling techniques, poetic ponderings, guided imagery, and the protocols of the art of convening, Minx will facilitate a deep and meaningful conversation focused on living in the fullness of our sensitivity to and appreciation of life.
 
Minx Boren MCC is an author, poet, speaker, and facilitator of workshops and essential conversations.  Above all, she is a Master Certified COACH - a life coach, a business coach, a healthwise coach, an Authentic Happiness coach, an Authentic Woman coach. Minx likes to say that she is in the happiness business because happiness is our most resilient, creative and productive state. Coaching is a process of inquiry and her favorite question comes from a line in a poem by Mary Oliver: “Tell me what it is you want to do with your one wild and precious life?”

10 Week Series

Wednesdays January 21st-March 25 7pm-8:15pm

Rhonda Masure will be leading a 10-week series of sessions based on The Right Questions by Debbie Ford. Each week stands alone and also builds on the others, so if you miss a class, you can step into the next week. It is not successive; it is progressive! This course  promotes reading out loud, class sharing, and weekly accountability partners. The book is available for purchase at class or from the church bookstore. The class is provided on a love-offering basis.
